Faculty, students, staff, alumni and friends across the global ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ community are mourning the passing of our longstanding alumna and supporter, Dr. Keren Brathwaite – who passed during the week of June 23, 2023.

An ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ alum and honorary degree recipient (2009) at the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½, Dr. Brathwaite was a co-founder, instructor and associate director at the Transitional Year Programme (TYP), which has helped countless equity-deserving students enrol in university, before her retirement in 2003.
