Marie-Paule Lory
Biography
Dr. Marie-Paule Lory is an Associate Professor in French Studies at the Department of Language studies at the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ with graduate appointments in the Language and Literacies Education program (LLE) in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning (CTL) at ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½. She is also a member of the CREFO (Centre de recherches en éducation franco-ontarienne).
Research interests
Her research interests focus on linguistic social representation among language learners and teachers as well as the inclusion of linguistic and cultural diversity in teaching practices in primary and secondary school. She has extensive experience in training teachers on innovative plurilingual pedagogical practices and promotes, in her research, collaborations and partnerships between various actors in education. She teaches courses mostly in French on plurilingualism in education.
