The ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ has many organizations to support Indigenous students.

First Nations House

The First Nations House provides culturally relevant services to Indigenous students, including academic support, financial aid and planning, meetings with elders and traditional teachers as well as cultural and social events.

Centre for Indigenous Studies

The Ciimaan/Kahuwe’yá/Qajaq Indigenous language initiative at The Centre for Indigenous Studies is an Indigenous language initiative that supports the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ community in the study and everyday use of Indigenous languages.

SAGE UT (Supporting Aboriginal Graduate Enhancement, ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½)

SAGE UT (Supporting Aboriginal Graduate Enhancement, ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½) is a graduate student led group operating out of the Centre for Aboriginal Initiatives (CAI) at the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½â€™s St. George Campus. SAGE UT plans workshops, presentations, meetings and other events that focus on promoting the academic and personal development of Indigenous graduate students.

The Indigenous Students’ Association

The Indigenous Students’ Association (ISA) has an office and a lounge at First Nations House where students can relax, work on assignments, enjoy a cup of coffee, and develop new friendships. The ISA is committed to the spiritual, physical, emotional and mental well-being of the Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis) student body and community members.
