Buy Nothing Day occurs on November 25 (aka Black Friday) this year. In an effort to combat the unethical and unsustainable shopping behaviors of Black Friday, artist Ted Dave established this anti-consumerism holiday in 1992. The idea is to counteract the madness of holiday shopping by taking an environmentally friendly attitude instead of wasteful purchasing. Please consider buying nothing on November 25th!
