Jennifer Danquah, a PhD scholar in Adult Education at the University of Würzburg, will begin by providing an overview of the adult education system in Germany. She will then share initial findings from her research, which explores the entanglement of German state-funded organizations like the Volkshochschule (Adult Education Center) in power dynamics which can lead to racism, while examining how strategies against racism are implemented within these organizations.
